I am a qualified BabyCalm practitioner and run both antenatal and postnatal workshops. These 3 hours long sessions offer simple effective tips on calming your newborn and will hopefully leave you feeling more confident about being a new parent!

Doula Service

“Doula (pronounced “doola”) is a Greek word meaning “woman servant or caregiver”.

As your doula I am employed by you, not your hospital or caregiver.

I will support you unconditionally in your decisions about your labour and birth, providing physical and emotional support to you and your family.

I will assist you to make informed decisions by ensuring you have all the information you need to make your birth and postnatal experience the most rewarding and comfortable they can be for you.

The support I provide is non-clinical and is to complement the care provided by your midwife or doctor. I do not and cannot perform any diagnostic tests or other clinical tasks or give any medical advice.

Photography

I have a passion for capturing the beauty of life in a image, I would be honored if you would like me to photograph your bump, birth or newborn to remember that moment for all time in a truly beautiful way. I use natural light, in an environment in which you are comfortable to ensure the natural beauty isn’t distorted or stifled.

Labour and birth photography isn’t something everyone would initially think of having, but it is a momentous occasion, which you can never repeat. Many mums say that they don’t really remember a lot of it, and have a few blurred snaps taken by a loved one or healthcare professional which they end up treasuring as the only documentation of those few hours when their baby entered the world. Again I look to capture the beauty of the moment, the support from your birth partner, the moments of calm and that first amazing look of love.
